Powers

They are many and varied. Some fly high above us, soaring on Eagle's wings; they leave us standing as they run with the speed of Mercury; we watch in awe as they move mountains. They wear costumes of a myriad colors, they answer to names that sound like a clarion call and they hear our cries for help when there is no-one else to save us. Some say that their abilities come from mutations, others from the Gods themselves. Is it technology that gives them wings and science that lets them fly? Is it genetics or miracles? Are they even from Earth or somewhere far beyond? No-one knows. The one thing that we do know - the one thing that brings them all together is simple. They all have powers!
