Christmas Eve, 1914. The soldiers of the Entente are freezing in their trenches on the Western Front. They think that this is as bad as it can get. But as night falls a darkness rises, ancient, implacable, against which the Tommies will have to fight for their lives, if they wish to see the morning sun.
