Liar Dice

A young man arrives in China to work at the American consul. And on his first night there crosses a murder victim. Several other occur in this political climate where the Chinese and Japanese and the illegal drug trade all mingle together. When an American is killed he is drawn in to help find out who the killer was, but it's not easy for the new comer to navigate and his roommate Buckbee ends up helping quite a bit.
