In a classic tale of ‘how do we get home’ we meet the crew of the escort ship Celestial Flyer. Tasked with a secret mission to transport a precious cargo to the Home World. A simple straightforward trip through the backwaters of the Galaxy. But things do not go as planned when the ship runs into difficulty and veers off course before crashing into a remote primitive planet during which they lost their ship and the Captain.
Second officer T’Pesh must take command and complete the mission. With the ship destroyed and no means to call for help she must navigate her way through the problems they encounter and steer her crew to safety by whatever means possible. They must wait to be rescued and hope that no-one else is searching for them, they must also keep their Passenger safe and keep the inhabitants safe from them and the contamination they may cause. They must leave Earth and return to their own home, in the meantime… They wait.
