Matt Tyson has the good life: youth, career, sex, money, friends - everything that matters. The problem is, he hates being alive. Enabled by the collective fantasy of Generation Y, he won't be happy until he's created the ultimate vanity project, an endeavor to propel him into superwealth and stardom. Or so he thinks.
In his pursuit he draws friends and loved ones into a spiral of violent and unlikely events, forcing them all to examine their own suburban ennui, asking for the first time what it is that those with everything should care about.
