A Different Sky

For three teens, the end of the world is only the beginning. Jane is on a cross-country train trip with her senior class, including Austin, her former childhood best friend who is now her sworn enemy, and Brandon, a dark and mysterious troublemaker who has threatened her life more than once. In the depths of the night, a strange and intense meteor shower triggers an apocalyptic event, but the three teens are able to escape into the mountains. Jane's passion for stargazing helps them to understand some of what has occurred. As she runs for her life with Austin and Brandon, each boy reveals secrets that will bring them closer to each other and to answering the mystery of what has happened to their world.
