An albino girl grows up in her father’s castle in England, carefully hidden from people’s sight and sunlight. Godiva is a whimsical, free spirited beauty, easily mistaken for a witch with her white blonde hair and purblind purple eyes. Grieving the suspicious death of her first love, a Viking prince in disguise, Godiva is forced to marry a wealthy nobleman, her late mother’s former beau.
She is torn between two brothers: a handsome monk who does doubtful things in the name of God, and her charming new husband, whom she can neither trust nor resist. As Godiva discovers their dark and dirty secrets, she finds herself under the spell of a man she planned to kill for revenge. She tries to overcome her fears and face a dreadful world with love and compassion, but it takes a death threat from the Viking conqueror to usher her out of the shadows — naked on a horse.
"GODIVA" is a historical dark romance retelling of the medieval legend about the lady riding through the streets of Coventry naked on a horse.
