Travelling through time wasn’t on Mike’s agenda on his day off; but that’s what he found himself doing. He went back to one of the most traumatic times in the history of Britain: 1940.
He met someone; a young woman. He felt himself being drawn into a relationship that he could never have imagined. A plethora of experiences out of time and his life could change in a heartbeat. He was experiencing things that he had only read about in his history books.
He had many questions to answer for the wartime authorities. And a million questions of his own to ask. What was happening? How had it happened? Why had it happened?
He could change history so easily if he chose. He could give away information that could shorten the war dramatically; reduce the casualty lists; stop the attrition of life in its tracks. Would it be morally correct to save lives? The question that was really eating away at him was - how did he travel through time? And…how was he going to get home? If and when he got home, what would be waiting for him...?
"...a cracking tale of time-travel and romance"
