In Juxtaposition, the encounter is between Emile and Ben. It's a safe-sex fable for our times; times during which more and more men are becoming infected with HIV through having unprotected sex. This story is simple and carries the obvious message. However, it was not written to demonise unsafe sexual practices; whether you play safe or not is your personal choice and responsibility. Please just think about the potential consequences.
Normally, here, I would say that I hope you enjoy the story. I don't think this is a story that is to be enjoyed in the same way as other stories. It is a story that was written to invoke a strong emotional response and to make the reader think. It was also written to encourage everyone to be more compassionate towards each other, in all situations.
