Corner Seat

This is an account of four railway journeys on internationally famous trains, the orient Express, the Taurus Express, the Moscow Express and the Trans-Siberian. The author tells of the people he meets and of the incidents that befall him. He dilutes his travelogue with reminiscence of world shaking events, so that the reader is carried through Europe and Asia of the crest of a wave.
