When Cat's phone rings in her Boston apartment at 5am, she knows who it is even before she wakes up. The only person crazy enough to call her at that hour is her hyperactive best friend, Duck.
Duck's just gotten an urgent, cryptic call from her problem-child younger brother, Luke. He's in jail in New Mexico and she's got to get down there to bail him out. More importantly, she's got to talk some sense into him before he throws his life away.
