"Never Send A Monster" is the misanthropic child of mad scrivener William Tooker and cranky artist Kevin Gentilcore. They are three hideously conjoined tales of people who conjure Tulpas to deal with their personal problems.
The first Tulpa is Mr. Sheckles who is a conjure created by a mad sorcerer that controls the dark primal gods of the universe but is afraid to talk to girls. The second part "Never Make A Monster" is about the girl Mr. Sheckles was sent after, who tires of constant pursuit from starry-eyed suitors who don't take the time to get to know her. She creates a duplicate of herself, Mea Tulpa, that is more than a little airheaded. And at last, "Monsters Never Prosper" is the tale of Ophidian Krowl who uses his Tulpa Mr. Grieve to steal the thoughts and dreams of others to get high on delusions of grandeur.
Three tales of obsession from the mad men at Creephouse Comics.
