Creatures, conjurers, and...cosplay?
With my star rising in the Order, I’m sent to find and protect a mysterious figure with the power to trigger an apocalypse. No pressure, right?
My search leads me to Epic Con, a raucous sci-fi and fantasy convention, where he could be any of the costumed attendees. Worse, demons are hunting him too, one of them unnervingly reminiscent of a former vampire lord.
Thankfully, I’m not alone. A ragtag team of allies has answered my call for help: a cranky goblin, a grandmotherly nether whisperer, an NYPD detective, and my hellcat, Tabitha. And when a dragon-obsessed conjurer threatens the conference with chaos, I may just have found my quarry.
But the conjurer’s ambitions quickly spiral beyond the conference, menacing greater New York. Meanwhile, the demons are circling closer and closer…
Can I spare Epic Con and the city while staving off an infernal apocalypse and securing my loved ones?
