Two years after what has become known as the Omnium Incident, the nation seemed to have moved on, in part with the help of streaming entertainment programs. Among the most popular shows are those produced by the Rose Gaming Network, with the standout winner being The Most Dangerous Game. The Game gained its fame by revisiting what was formerly considered to be an antiquated approach to criminal justice, but the masses are kept ignorant of the devious methods of how contestants are chosen to participate. The struggle for truth becomes a personal quest for Deputy US Marshal Milo Durron, after being assigned to track down three fugitives who have escaped from Camp Leavenworth and bring them to justice.
