Being a Guardian isn't as easy as it sounds...
Quantum freaks out the day he's assigned to be a Guardian to Sarah Klump. Humans make him nervous. He's more comfortable with his boss, Mr. Jones, and all the other Ironians he works with at the Society of United Guardians. Why do things have to change?
So Quantum runs away. Alone in a human city, he discovers things that shake him up even more. And he sets in motion bigger changes than he, or anyone else, thought possible.
