I’m in deeper with the Greeks than ever, and I don’t mean my cat’s recent yogurt binge.
Hermes insists he can stop Persephone from opening a deadly chasm to the underworld. The catch? He needs me to steal her scepter from the shadow present, a realm where I’ve nearly met my maker twice now.
Can I trust the trickster? He’s using my shadow’s son as a vessel, effectively holding him hostage. He’s also stockpiling deities and mythic beings in Midtown. But with dread Persephone gaining strength, spilling fresh horrors into our world, I don’t see a way out, not with a baby girl on the way.
That is, unless I can pull off a herculean feat of savvy and spell-casting to smite both gods. But first, I’ll need to decrypt a hag’s prophecy that’s been haunting my dreams.
One that warns of my demise in an upcoming war....
