Bibliographical note: The first edition of 'Speed Six!' was published in 1953 but this Puffin edition, first published in 1966, states on the reverse of the title page 'Rewritten specially for this edition and published in Puffin Books 1966'. It is, therefore, a different edition from that of 1953 but that date remains in the 'original publication date' so as not to upset the other editions of the book.
