Eve has just received divorce papers from her scum of an ex-husband and needs a little girl time. Eve and her friend Mitzi make plans to go out, but when she opens the door to her ‘friend’ it’s not Mitzi at the door. Enter Drake Fallon, a wildly sexy man who’s unfortunately looking for the woman downstairs. When Drake ends up in her bed and the woman downstairs ends up dead, Eve doesn’t know if she should trust him. On top of everything else, he’s a vampire with an enemy who is sworn to destroy Eve.
